1. Who We Are

We are PL Commercial Repairs UK. We provide commercial repair and maintenance services across the UK. These terms apply to all jobs we take on unless agreed otherwise in writing.

2. Booking a Service

  • When you book with us (by phone, email or online), we’ll confirm the date, time, and scope of the job.
  • Please make sure all contact, access, and job details you provide are accurate.
  • If we arrive and cannot access the premises or the job cannot be carried out due to missing or incorrect info, we may charge a call-out fee.

3. Pricing

  • Our pricing includes labour and any agreed call-out fee.
  • Parts and additional services not included in the initial quote will be billed separately.
  • All prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days and may change if materials or costs increase.

4. Payment Terms

  • Invoices are due within 30 days of issue unless agreed otherwise.
  • We accept most major debit and credit cards, BACS, or direct invoice payment.
  • Late payments may incur interest at 3% above HSBC’s base rate per annum, applied daily.

5. Cancellations

  • You can cancel up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit without charge.
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may incur a £90 + VAT fee to cover lost time.

6. Access and Site Conditions

  • It’s your responsibility to ensure safe and clear access to the repair site.
  • If additional work is needed to reach the equipment (e.g., lifting flooring or removing panels), this must be arranged in advance.
  • We may refuse to carry out work if we believe the area is unsafe or access is blocked.

7. Warranty on Work

  • Labour and replacement parts we supply come with a 12-month warranty from the date of the completed job.

  • Redecoration or making-good after the job
  • Removal of third-party equipment unless it’s part of the job scope

9. Repairs Under Warranty or Cover Plans

  • If your equipment is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or external insurance policy, it’s your responsibility to provide proof of cover.
  • If cover is denied, we will invoice you directly for the work.

10. Our Liability

We will not be liable for:

  • Loss of income, profit, or business interruption
  • Any delay caused by third-party suppliers or events outside our control
  • Damage caused by pre-existing faults or unsafe installations

However, we are fully liable for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
